Beginning in May 2025, Goose Hummock offers their weekly group beginner fly casting lessons. Lessons are held on Saturday mornings on "dry ground" on one of the local athletic fields and Goose provides all necessary equipment...just bring yourself! You are welcome to bring your own fly rod and reel if you already have one.

Even if you have never held a fly rod before, the Goose Certifed Casting Instructors will show you how the gear works and get you functionally casting by the end of the lesson.

These lessons are very popular and book out quickly...reserve your space now! Kids 12 and older are welcome.
