ICE FISHING TIME!!
Danny, Aaron and Ian were busy with their tip ups and jigging rods yesterday afternoon and did really well ice fishing. This largemouth was 5 lbs!
Though it has been Polar Vortex style cold this week, please be careful on the ponds and be certain they are safe before you ice fish. Some ponds are safe, some are decidedly not.

Striped Bass fishing around Race Point is still strong after the North wind blow from last weekend. Live bait, metal flutter jigs and snapping wire have been the most effective since 9/25.
Tuna around the bank are there but finicky. A lot of great bait at the SWC. We should have some better intel as the weather settles the next three days and commercial fishing opens on 10/2

The weather gave us a break and the bass are still here and chewing! Had a crew from NY today and they had a blast with the vertical jigging. Fish in the shallows pulling wire, and jigging in the deeper waters on the backside of Ptown.
