Goose Fishing Report 4/11/25

Two things thing you will be able to trust about the 2025 Goose Fishing report: when the fishing is good, we will accurately report that. Conversely, when it's off, we will accurately report that as well.

This weeks unseasonably cool, rainy and windy conditions really knocked things back a bit...perhaps, only as a result of decreased fishing effort. Only the hardiest fishing souls were out there this week trying.

As a result, there isn't alot of news to share this week. The weekend forecast through Sunday looks like a continuation of this weeks conditions. In other words, terrible.

The good news? It looks like Monday will be returning to more seasonable, fishing conducive type conditions. We will post another report here next Wednesday that should be a whole lot more encouraging.

So, what's a cabin fever stricken fisherman to do this weekend?

Get your fishing gear in order. We are quickly getting to the point of no return in terms of weather and the fishing should become consistently decent in the next week or so. Be ready. The guys in the shop have plenty of time at this stage of the season to help you change out lines, replace rod tips and show you the new lures and gear for this year.
